Ploud6 includes a new antalytics feature. You can still use Google Analytics on your website but we have provided basic analytics for you.

To access the Analytics, select your account name at the bottom of the Site Toolbar and select Site Analytics.

The resulting page contains a lot of information, but exploring this information can reveal how your site is being used.

Note: The information provided initially will display data collected from when the site went live. As time passes, you will see more information in the reports

Visit Summary

A graph representing data collected between the listed dates is displayed.

Hovering your mouse over any dot will give you the visit count. In the example below, the graph is set to display the days as indicated in the red boxYou can select Days, WeeksMonths, or Years.

On any of the Dots you select, you will get a breakdown of the hits on your site.

Exporting Reports

When you hover on the bottom left of the graph, more options are available. You may find yourself using the export function regularly, as it is handy for creating monthly reports.

Select the icon on the left to open the Export screen. You can Export a report in several formats. The ones listed below are suggested reports for most libraries.

All export files are downloaded to your computer

HTML - downloads an HTML file that you can open in a browser

CSV (comma separated values)   - Useful if you have a spreadsheet program like Excel, Apple Numbers, or Google Sheets to open the downloaded file.

TSV (Excel) (tab separated values) -  This file can also be opened by Excel.

JSON - There isn't much of a need for this file, this is a technical file used to exchange data with other systems.
