Folder Delete Protection (Ploud6)

You have the option to protect folders from being deleted by logged-in users. This helps prevent accidental deletions. Without this setting, when someone tries to delete a folder, a confirmation popup will appear showing which pages and subfolders will be affected. Despite this confirmation, folders can still be deleted due to user error. If a folder is mistakenly deleted, the only way to recover it is by rolling back the entire site from a backup. However, this may not always be ideal as any changes made to the site after the backup date and time will be lost. 

Anytime a folder is created, the option to protect it from deletion and renaming will be displayed. To activate the feature, you just need to check the checkbox.

1. Navigate to the folder you want to protect and Edit the folder
   
2. Within the editing page, you can click the checkboxes next to Delete protection and Rename protection.
   
3. Make sure you click Save for your settings to take effect.
