Creating a Site-Wide Alert Message (Ploud6)

Enfold SaaS gives you the ability to display a message to everyone who visits your site. These messages will display at the top of each page, just below the Navigation Bar.

Your message will have an "X" at the far right to allow you to close it once you've seen it. However, this will only close the message until next time you reload the page or move to a different one. At that point, the message will reappear and you will have to close it again to hide it. Because these messages appear on every page every time you look at them, it is a good idea to keep these messages short, and only use them when there's an urgent message to communicate.

To create a new site-wide message:

  1. Click on the button that displays your User Name in the top right-hand corner of the page to open a dropdown menu.
  2. Click on Configure an emergency message.

  3. Select a Message Type. Message Type will control what colors the message shows up in.

The following are samples of each message style:

  4. Enter the text you would like to display in the Message field.
  5. Click Apply to take you back to the main page. You will see your message at the top of each page.

To disable a site-wide alert message:

  1. Click on the button that displays your User Name in the top right-hand corner of the page to open a dropdown menu.
  2. Click on Configure an emergency message.
  3. Click on Message type and set the type to Disabled.
  4. Click Apply to take you back to the main page. You will see that your message is no longer displayed.
